The title is from: "Ike... Please live... Even if all the cities burn, and the seas swallow Tellius... You mustn't die... Not you..." ... which is actually Soren's death quote. But I think it fits.
I really love your painting style very much! The color scheme really fits the painful mood, and the expression on Soren is well drawn. And all your drawings have so much emotion!
You're definitely my favorite FE artist! I envy your skills~.
The colours used really compliment the scene though and add more depth-- I can actually see a background instead of just blank space too which makes it even more amazing. The red however, just stands out from everything else and it's just... wow. T.T

Wow: you kept in mind, that when it snows heavily, colours will fade like that. And still it looks 'lively', not bland. It's a gorgeous piece. Great detail.
Hehe, thanks. I actually meant to make this more colorful -- the shading you see was supposed to serve as an underpainting. But when I was about halfway finished with the shading, I thought, 'hey, that kinda looks nice the way it is' and decided to not color it fully.
I love this one! The shading is beautiful, the colors are quiet and bland but that really adds impact to the art... Soren's expression at the death of his beloved friend. Great work, Keiiii!

And the stars just sit there and glimmer like they don't notice how we're dying inside, and the rain still pours and mocks us in our death, and the world goes on when all the hearts are broken.
Holy geez. @__@ This is such a depressing picture, but so amazingly well done. I think the snowy background was the best choice possible for the color-fading effect, and the blood and Soren's eyes are really accentuated by everything else being grey. Soren's expression is... heartwrenching. There, that's the word I was looking for. It's a really powerful piece. Totally fav'd.

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
