This is Chie's BJD/character, Korah. He usually doesn't wear stuff like this; his clothing tends to be simpler and not nearly as colorful. This must be some kind of a ceremonial garb for angel princes? I had a lot of fun designing the costume. In my first sketch, there were a lot more details with random jewelry dangling everywhere, but I think that would've been an overkill... especially for Korah.
~Painted in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 from scratch, with some details (hair strands, cloth patterns) drawn in Corel Painter IX. All patterns were hand-drawn in Painter. ~Some textures are from cgtextures.com, others are my own. ~Do his wings just kind of go THROUGH his shirts? The world will never know. |
