1208x1024 folks can use it as their desktop wallpaper, if they wish. :) See how I did this pic: [link]

EDIT: Changed the category because "wallpaper" made it sound like I just grabbed some image from somewhere and edited it, when I had in fact painted it from scratch. ^^; You can still use it as your wallpaper if you want!

Has any of you stolen something when you were little?

I have. One of my uncles had this pocket watch. It was gold-tone with a little bit of patina here and there, and it had all these beautiful gears showing under the watch hands. I had never seen anything like it. If that wasn't love at first sight, I don't know what is. And without a second thought, I... I... ELOPED WITH IT. (Fortunately, the watch was super cheap or something, and he didn't really mind me having it.)

And you know what? I still have that watch after all these years. And I still love steampunk to death. Now I finally have some steampunk-y-ness in my gallery to show my love!

About the character: this is Kimry Banford, a girl who's got a bit of a mad scientist in her. I imagine this is the engine room of some kind of a Tech Fortress of Evil Doom, and she's about to try something completely insane with it... ...like building, installing and activating a self-destruct mechanism...? >_>

Here Comes Miss Banford by *keiiii has the inspiring spirit I personally look for in a piece. Shows effort, a well developed idea, a beautiful and appropiated design, and a simply gorgeous colouring. Also, I just wonder how hard has been to draw that perspective of a complex machine like that. So amazing! (Suggested by =Atramina and Featured by ^archanN)

That's so cool! And I love how you have like, a story behind this image with the pocket watch. :)

...just amazing. I love the composition ;_; The coloring is beautiful, too, as always <333

LOL I think I might've stolen something when I was little... I don't remember, though. But I do know that my cousins stole my video game D< -SHOT-

There are so many beautiful details in this thing! *awe*. I love how she has a mischievous look on her face, about to do something in a mad-scientist sort of way. And.. hmn... I've stolen.. a really cool looking marble once. It was really cheap though, but it was shiny XD.

Thank you. I had a hard time with the composition because I'm not used to doing busy/crowded pictures like this. I'm glad you think it came out well!

I remember I punched one of my cousins in the face (we were both around 4, I think) because she wouldn't give me her tangerine. They had plenty of tangerines in the kitchen though. I wonder why I didn't ask one of the adults for one. XD;;;

I just remembered something. I stole a vermicelli chain when I was like... 1-2 years old. O_o I don't remember doing it, of course; I heard it from my parents. My mom was carrying me on her back (most moms did that in Korea back then) while she was walking through the market. When she came home, she noticed I was holding something in my fist, and it turned out to be a vermicelli chain. She couldn't return it because she had no idea where I stole it from...

I've never stolen anything (not that I can think of), but I do love Steampunk! Just recently gotten into the whole party, and boy oh boy do I love it. :) It's such a wonderful blend of fantasy. Speaking of steampunk, have you heard of the "Clockwork Quartet"? It's a SP band with some great music. :)

Loooove the picture btw. :heart: Her bag is so pretty. *A*

Yes, shiny things DO attract children. That sounds expensive. Did you decide to keep it?
