Inspired by the fox and the prince from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Below is a little excerpt from the book:

And I shall love to listen to the wind in the wheat... ...And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.  ~Painted in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 from scratch ~Though like, 2% of the work was done in Corel Painter IX ~The grainy texture on the bark is from cgtextures.com (just the grainy stuff. The actual texture of the bark was hand-painted) ~That's a chicken plushie sitting next to the girl. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
